Boucheron Cypris Tourbillon with three gold Bridges

Featuring a unique architecture, the Tourbillon with three gold Bridges is recognized the world over as a hallmark of the Girard-Perregaux Manufacture. It is one of the most beautiful of existing watchmaking complications due to its technical prowess and the skill required to produce it. This extraordinary mechanism, which calls on the expertise of more than fifteen different professions, compensates for the effects of universal gravitation and guarantees high-precision time measurement. The assurance of exceptional quality, each finish is crafted by hand and polished up to five times in succession to obtain a perfectly chamfered result.

Accordingly, the movement’s bridges are no longer merely a technical component of the timepiece: they become the esthetic pretext for the design, like the bird’s heartbeat.

Two complementary shades

The symbols of love and fidelity, pairs of swans often embody perfect love. In tribute to this legendary union, the House of Boucheron offers its Cypris Tourbillon with three golds Bridges creations in two complementary shades: Cypris Tourbillon Black Plumage and Cypris Tourbillon White Plumage.

Apart from Cypris Tourbillon Black Plumage’s diamond case, the colors flow into each other to reflect the extraordinary shimmer of the wings. Black spinels and blue and violet sapphires compose the setting of more than 1,380 stones decorating the wings of the black plumage. For the Cypris Tourbillon White Plumage, some one hundred blue sapphires mingle with over 700 round diamonds. ■
