Ferrari GMT 8 Days from Panerai

To mark its close partnership with the House of Maranello, Officine Panerai has created a Special Edition for Ferrari. For the debut of the watch marque that celebrates the legend of Italian motor sport, Panerai has provided the calibre P.2002, the movement with which it has inaugurated its own manufacturing journey.

The Ferrari GMT 8 Days is a model offered in an edition of 300 units, with a pink gold case which does not in any way compromise its structural robustness, insofar as its water-resistance is guaranteed to 100 metres, thanks to its screw-down crown and screw back. It is a watch which celebrates in this precious metal version the stylistic features introduced with the Ferrari collection: the round window of the dial set within the square case with rounded corners, an aesthetic design recalling, in updated form, the cushion shape of the Panerai models of the 1930s. The winding crown has a milled rim, a graphic idea taken from the control buttons of the dashboard of Ferrari cars.

Ferrari GMT 8 Days, Panerai calibre P.2002, created entirely by Panerai, hand-wound, power reserve 8 days, 21 jewels, 3 spring barrels. Black dial with Clous de Paris pattern, Ferrari and Prancing Horse logos at 12 o'clock, Arabic numerals for the hours on the outer flange, continuous seconds dial at 9 o'clock, date window at 3 o'clock, second time zone indicated by the central hand and by the day/night division indicator at 9 o'clock, power reserve indication at 6 o'clock.
