The FHH announces Christophe Claret as a new partner

Established 1989, the Christophe Claret brand joins the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie in its promotion of values of excellence and craftsmanship in watchmaking.

The circle of partners to the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) continues to grow. The FHH is indeed delighted to welcome Christophe Claret as a new member. This brings to 27 the number of those whose shared objective is to promote a culture of time measurement which calls on tradition and innovation through craftsmanship and technology.

Christophe Claret makes magic with time measurement. A graduate of the Geneva Watchmaking School, he trained alongside Roger Dubuis then gained valuable experience restoring antique timepieces. The company he set up in 1989 is an acclaimed specialist in grandes complications, including the minute-repeater, having more than 60 calibres to its credit. In addition to collaborating with such respected names as Ulysse Nardin, Harry Winston, Les Maîtres du Temps and Jean Dunand, in 2009 Christophe Claret launched his own brand with the DualTow, still noted for its rarely equalled technical prowess. His latest feat, the X-TREM-1, combines a flying tourbillon with an hours and minutes display that uses steel spheres moved by magnetic fields, traditionally the worst enemy of a mechanical watch movement.

Innovation, leading-edge technology and superlative design, Christophe Claret has shown that Fine Watchmaking can never stand still, if only to keep the dream and all that it stands for alive.

The 27 partner-brands of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie:
A.Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Bovet, Cartier, Chanel, Chopard, Christophe Claret, Corum, De Bethune, Greubel Forsey, Harry Winston, Hermès, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Panerai, Parmigiani, Perrelet, Piaget, Richard Mille, Roger Dubuis, Tag Heuer, Vacheron Constantin, Van Cleef & Arpels, Zenith.
