It takes passion, a healthy dose of curiosity and a sense of wonderment to convey the innumerable facets of watchmaking…
It’s the unsignposted roads that are often the most interesting. The journey may take longer, but is all the more enriching for it. This has always been Marie’s philosophy. After a degree in law that took her from Nantes to Paris, and later Nottingham, she decided on a career in journalism. She spent several years reporting for French regional dailies before making a home in Geneva, in 2004.
Over the past ten years, as a freelance journalist Marie has contributed to many specialist watch titles, including GMT Magazine, Montres Passion, Worldtempus, LA, Montres Le Guide and La Tribune des Arts. Fascinated by design, new trends, new encounters and the arts, words are the building blocks she uses to give an account of roads travelled, passions lived first-hand, and to shed light on the remarkable expertise that makes up the many facets of fine watchmaking.
