By establishing a house of the same name in 1775, Abraham-Louis Breguet creates a pioneering and prestigious brand. Gaining of a patent for a new type of winder called a "Tourbillon".
Breguet launches the Type XX with the retour en vol function or flyback, which was to enable pilots to make more accurate trajectory calculations.
With a thickness of only 7 mm, the Breguet 5377 watch, is launched.
