Antoine Patek, a businessman of Polish origin, and François Czapek, a watchmaker of Czech origin, found the watch-making company Patek, Czapek & Cie in Genève.

1976

Launch of the Nautilus. The model is very innovative not only in terms of the originality of its shape, known as referred to as the "television" shape, but also in terms of its size: 42 mm.

2002

Launch of the Sky Moon Tourbillon model, a wrist watch with the most complicated double dial produced hitherto.

2014

The Supercomplication Henry Graves confirms its status as the most expensive timepiece ever to be sold at auction, achieving 19.3 million Euros at Sotheby’s in Geneva.
