Roger W. Smith
The Briton Roger W. Smith stands apart in the watch-making world. He works alongside George Daniels – designer of the co-axial escapement – before making his own watches in 2001. The watchmaker makes a point of creating everything by hand. His workshop is located on the Isle of Man. It is here that he creates models using the codes of the English watch-making tradition.
In 2001, after serving an apprenticeship under George Daniels, Roger W. Smith establishes his workshop.
