Vincent Calabrese ended his school studies when he was just 12 years old, and went on to teach himself the skills of watchmaking. He has worked for numerous brands, creating the movements that would earn them respect and renown. He is one of the two founders of the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI), a gathering of some forty of the greatest independent watchmakers. At over 70 years old, he is still creating watches for leading brands, in his workshop in Morges.
