The taut lines, smooth volumes and aerial perspectives of the contemporary architecture of South American mega-cities are central to the new-edition Sequential Two. This intensely technical, unmistakably powerful watch presents a new anthracite dial background. True to its principles, MCT has chosen a futuristic time display. The signature cross-shaped structure introduces an original curvature that goes perfectly with that of the monumental case in blackened titanium. Outsized hour numerals on four surfaces, each comprising five prisms, display time in a fiendishly clever way: at each hour change, the central C-shaped disc rotates 90° counter-clockwise to show the next hour. Meanwhile, a large blue hand keeps up with minutes. One can imagine the kind of mechanical complexity behind all this: no fewer than 654 components have been expertly assembled to track time and bring this 25-piece limited edition to life with exemplary precision.
