Looking for the vintage watch of your dreams at a price you can afford? Just a few days ago, HH Journal ran its pick of the watches coming under the hammer at the Geneva auctions. So how did they fare?

Phillips, Sotheby’s, Christies and Antiquorum held their spring sessions May 14th to 16th in Geneva. Excitement ran high in the saleroom as hundreds of collectors, or the merely curious, watched prices mount on the watches of their dreams. As always, certain lots set records, including a rare steel Rolex from 1942 that found a taker at $2.5 million.
